The main theory of blood type diets is that people with different blood types digest lectins differently, and that if people eat food that is not compatible with their blood type, they will experience many health problems. On the other hand, if a person eats food that is compatible, they will be healthier. Check out which foods are good and bad for your blood type.

    Blood type 0

This is the oldest blood type. It has been proven that the Neanderthals and the Cro-Magnons, from which the modern man originated had zero blood type. And their main means of livelihood was hunting, which explains the most characteristic feature in the diets of people with this blood type – their digestive system is adapted to a high animal protein diet, which is low in carbohydrates.

    Blood type 0

Stick to: high protein diet, which includes meat – beef, lamb; fish – mackerel, cod, herring. Garnish – always vegetables, preferably green. From fruits, plums and figs are beneficial.

Give up: lentils, beans, wheat, corn and all other cereals except millet, oats and rice – otherwise you will wonder why you can not get rid of the excess weight.

Remove completely from your diet all kinds of cabbage, eggplant, potatoes, milk and most dairy products. This will activate the thyroid and will protect you from arthritis – a disease to which you are prone to. Carriers of this blood type have increased acidity of gastric juice and a tendency to stomach disorders. So you should avoid marinades, apple and orange juice, sour fruits.

    Blood type A

This blood type has appeared 25-15 thousand years BC, when the hunter started to become a farmer who conquered areas of wild forests and planted them. Inherited from their distant ancestors, the representatives of this blood type are prone to obesity and sedentary. As well as to cardiovascular and oncological diseases.

    Blood type A

Stick to: vegetarian type of diet. Emphasize cereals (excluding wheat), soy products, legumes, vegetables, fruits, vegetable oil, and fish – cod, salmon, pike, mackerel.

Give up: meat, especially the red meat – from it you gain weight. If it is difficult to remove it completely from your diet, replace it with a hen, turkey or other poultry. Avoid products made of wheat and whole milk – for your body it is more difficult to absorb them. However you can safely eat cottage cheese and yogurt. All citrus fruits, mango, banana, papaya, coconut, potato, eggplant, cabbage and kale, tomatoes, greenhouse mushrooms, yellow, green and hot peppers, caviar, lobsters, squid, herring and shrimp have to disappear from your menu.

    Blood type B

This blood type appeared about 15-10 thousand years BC at the foothills of the Himalayas. It occurs most often in descendants of the Asian stock-breeding tribes, hence the term “blood type of the stock-breeders.” The nervous system is most vulnerable in people with this blood type.

    Blood type B

Stick to: a balanced diet with protein, fat and carbohydrates. Drink milk, eat eggs, meat (best are mutton, lamb, rabbit, venison), rice, oats, millet and vegetables. From the fruits pineapples, bananas, grapes and plums are good for you.

Give up: chicken and hen meat (their lectins hide for you risk of heart attack and lower your immunity), limit pork, do not eat too much beef and any other red meat – it can cause chronic fatigue syndrome and weaken your immune system. Forget about lobsters, shrimp, crabs and oysters, vegetable oils (except olive oil and flaxseed oil), tomatoes, radishes, squash, olives, avocados, artichokes, beans. Under the ban are also wheat, corn, rye and barley – they slow down your metabolism and hinder the effective energy expenditure. Avoid coconut, pomegranate and dates.

    Blood type AB

The youngest blood group, which is believed to have occurred 1,000 years ago. According to statistics among its carriers dominate spiritual teachers and healers.

People with this blood type combine the pros and cons of the previous two from which they occurred. Dairy products are good for them, poultry affects bad their healthy diet. From beef they lose strength and gain weight, but the soy proteins and the sea fish strengthen them and make them lose weight. The moderate consumption of meat keeps under control their tendency to anemia and the prevalence of raw leafy vegetables, soybeans and algae in their menu protects them from cancer and cardiovascular diseases.

    Blood type AB

Stick to: a vegetarian diet. The meat in your case is the main reason for gaining weight. It is not fully processed due to the characteristic for this blood type – low acidity of gastric juice. Emphasize the acidic citrus fruits – lemon, grapefruit, kiwi. Beneficial for you are rye bread, oatmeal, rice, beans, lentils, soybeans and peas. From the fish – go for salmon, cod, mackerel and pike river. The fresh vegetables (except peppers) and fruits (except oranges and bananas) build a good protection against cardiovascular and oncological diseases to which the people with this blood type are prone to.

Give up: wheat and corn products – they slow down your metabolism. Do not eat turbot, herring, sea and river crabs, shrimp, oysters, and eels.
